About Oakridge

Nail extension training, seriously taught

Oakridge is a specialised online education platform for nail extension techniques — built for students who want structured, instructor-led learning without the limitations of a fixed location.

How this platform came together

Oakridge started in 2018 from a straightforward observation: nail extension education online was either too shallow or too scattered to be genuinely useful.

The platform was built to address that gap directly. Courses are structured around real technique sequences — gel, acrylic, polygel, and builder gel — with each module designed to be taught live, not just recorded and left. Instructors run scheduled group sessions and one-on-one appointments, so students can ask questions mid-demonstration rather than rewatching the same clip.

Learners from across Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America have completed programmes through Oakridge. The multilingual support and flexible session scheduling reflect the reality that students work around jobs, family, and time zones — not the other way around.

Four things that shape every course

Each element below reflects a deliberate decision about how nail extension skills are best transferred through a screen — not assumptions borrowed from general e-learning.

01

Live Sessions

Instructors teach in scheduled live calls. Students submit hand photos mid-session and receive correction before moving to the next step.

Sequenced Curri

Modules build on each other in a fixed order. Gel application before nail prep, prep before structure — the sequence matters and is enforced by the curriculum design.

03

Flexible Paths

Students choose between group cohorts and private appointments. Both formats cover the same material — the difference is pacing and how much direct instructor time is allocated.

Multilingual support and international student community
04

Global Reach

Sessions run across multiple time zones. Materials are available in several languages, and instructors are briefed on regional product availability differences.
